At NZCS our biggest assets are our people.
We have a small team of permanent staff employed and are proud promoters of our entire team.
Our staff exhibit a strong team culture of achieving a safe work environment, working efficiently and effectively together and in producing high standards of workmanship and personal pride for each job they have completed. NZCS is still at the stage of humble beginnings having only been operating since November 2017, with staff that have all come from a background in the industrial and marine painting sector. This has given us the ability to safely provide adequate supervision and training if more man power becomes required for larger projects.
Managing Director Kade Hunt
Kade has over 15 years working in the protective coating industry. He has an impressive portfolio of unique projects. He has great communication skills when it comes to working with clients and understanding deadlines. Kade has worked as a trades assistant to a business owner, along the way he has picked up the ins and outs of all aspects of the industrial painting business.
Business Manager Brittany Van de Waardt
Brittany has years of administrative experience in various industries in America. Since the age of 18 she has held jobs at some of the biggest fortune 500 companies. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs and understands the hard work, and great communication it takes to run a small business. She has been a dedicated member of our team since 2019 and continues to help the business strive for greatness.
Business Support Assistant Nikkie Xyra MacIntosh
Nikkie Xyra MacIntosh supports the day-to-day administration and operational processes of NZ Coating Services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Accounting and has been part of the team since 2024.
Business Development Manager Wayne Judge
Wayne Judge brings over 35 years of experience in the spray painting and protective coatings industry, with extensive expertise across automotive, commercial, and marine sectors. His background includes abrasive blasting, commercial coatings, sales, and technical support. Having worked with leading coating suppliers and major regional projects, Wayne combines practical industry knowledge with technical expertise to provide clients with effective coating solutions and help protect their assets against corrosion.
Office Manager Donna Marshall
Donna has been a wonderful addition to the team, bringing extensive experience across the automotive and fishing industries, including leadership, administration, and quality control. With a strong background in team management and safety, along with excellent rapport with contractors, she plays an important role in maintaining NZ Coating Services' health and safety standards and supporting a safe working environment.
Operations Manager Chris Bader
Chris Bader has progressed from Yard Supervisor to Operations Manager, becoming one of our key strengths within the business. He oversees the team, monitors job progress, and carries out site checks to ensure work is completed to the high standards our clients expect. His hands-on approach and commitment to quality help keep our operations running smoothly and ensure the team stays on track.
